25th Annual Aids Walk New York

As the lovely Summer weather approaches the East Coast; something other than memorial day weekend comes to mind for myself and my friends...It's the Annual Aids Walk! This year shall be our 4th year walking with Team Ubuntu and we are excited to be a part of the 25th Annual Aids Walk NY.

**So Why Should You Care?

Aids is an epidemic that has impacted lives globally, research efforts have helped reduce the development of HIV infection to Aids.
When the HIV/AIDS epidemic surfaced in the early 1980’s the initial conclusion was that it was an immune deficiency prevalent in homosexual males; therefore naming it Gay Related Immune Deficiency(GIRD), developments later disproved this as it was found in heterosexual men, women and babies, therefore naming it Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (Aids). Almost 30years after its identification Aids is still a world health issue especially in Africa where mother-to-child transmission and children orphaned by Aids is a growing issue.
*HIV transmission is preventable, and clearly this epidemic does not discriminate, so why should we descriminate in our efforts of assistance?

**So How can you help?

Walk with us on May 16th in Central Park, New York City as we walk for a cause and raise money. There are many teams listed that you can join, such as The Ubuntu Education Fund or you may create your own.

Live, Love, Forgive; RIP Da Grin

FAB takes this moment to pay respects to Nigeria's finest Da Grin, Olaitan Olanipekun.

This Nigeria based artist impacted the lives of many within the industry by not only being a colleague but also by exemplifying the importance of true friendship. Supporting all those around him Da Grin will always be remembered not only for his musical talent but also for his warm heart.
Our prayers this month go out to his family and to all those whose life he touched.

Such makes us wonder; What will be your legacy? Will it be FAB? If not, perhaps now is the time to "Live right, Love hard and Forgive quickly"-Ese.

Tomorrow is never promised.

"Sun re o"

Have a blessed weekend dolls.
God is Love
