Love for Haiti

FAB is asking readers to continue to keep Haiti in their prayers and offer charitable contributions in any form possible. The earthquake of magnitude 7.0 on the Richter scale that struck Haiti on Tuesday January 12 2010 continues to be in the forefront of news castings, as volunteers and emergency relief services continue to search for survivors despite the high level of danger still posed due to aftershock.

An already poverty stricken country, Haiti now needs our help more than ever. Relief work has been challenging due to the high population density and the lack of available communication systems due in part to this chaotic devastation.

As much as everyone wishes they could go to Haiti physically and help out, this is not possible, however there are many other ways we can help this situation. There are multiple Charitable organizations available who are offering relief to Haiti during these trying times. FAB applauds the hard work and giving nature of those who have volunteered their time, money, resources and heartfelt prayers to the people of Haiti, as this is far from over.

Below are a few websites currently accepting donations for Haiti Relief;

"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." Matthew 24:6-7

God is love.
